The free festival in now over for 2008 but will be back at Espionage in 2009. Check out the reviews below to see what you missed out on! One of the common misconceptions about the Free Festival is that it free because it's rubbish! Each year performers loose thousands of pounds putting on their shows at the Fringe due to sky high venue hire charges on top of the cost of living in Edinburgh for a month during the festival. The Free Festival does not charge acts to perform and these savings are passed directly on to you, the consumer. The Free Festival aims to bring you the absolutely best in Entertainment without the high ticket prices of the big venues. As the reviews start coming in thick and fast, we'll be posting links to them here to keep you updated on what's HOT to see at Espionage during the Free Festival We've already had one 4 Star Review and one 3 Star!
