GONE LIVE

Gordon Simpson PDF Print E-mail

Hi, my name is Gordon Simpson, Homer to my friends.  I like to think that this is because of the similarities between myself and the ancient Greek writer and scholar.  However, due to my receding hairline and increasing waistline I think this is more likely to be due to my likeness to a yellow cartoon character, who I happen to share a surname with.

I have been a DJ for about sixteen years now and have had the pleasure of working in most of the major clubs and bars in Aberdeen, finding a home in Espionage shortly after we opened.  When I am not working I like to spend my spare time relaxing, playing golf, watching football and spending time with my friends.  This takes up most of my time but still leaves me enough time to spend with my long suffering better half, Louise.  Hope you enjoy the CD, and look forward to seeing you all in the club soon.

C u Soon.

Gxxx

Scott Cruikshank PDF Print E-mail
Scott has been a professional DJ for more years than he has been sober enough to remember. and usually be found most Saturday's upstairs in Mata Hari and in various other bars & clubs around town.

"DJ'ing in Espionage is like a bit of a homecoming to me as several years ago this building was the first nightclub I actually worked in, I just wish the price of the beer was still the same!"

Previously Scott has worked in Scotland's then·largest nightclub Amadeus" for 3 years, he has also worked pretty much everywhere in Aberdeen and regularly in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh. A passion for all things entertainment has seen him producing & directing 3 pop concerts and you may have seen him present our fashion show we had too.

"Personally I'm quite a fan of funky vocal disco house, bottles of Corona and travel abroad"

Scott co-owns the DJ agency who supply DJ's to Espionage, and the installation company responsible for choosing and fitting all of the lighting & sound & DJ kit within the venue too.

"Have i mentioned beer too much?"

Regards Scott

Scott McNeil PDF Print E-mail

Djing for the last 6 years professionally, I have enjoyed a lot of success working in around 20 different clubs and pubs in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. These include residencies at: The Ministry, Blu Bar, Eskotheque and SoBar (Priory). This has afforded me the opportunity to work alongside some of the most successful DJ’s in the country such as; Danny Rampling, Judge Jules, Allister Whitehead, Tall Paul, Boy George and Fergie to name a few.

Now resident in Espionage (MataHari) for the last year or so, you can expect a nice mix of house tracks (old and new) in the early part of the evening followed by all the favourite R&B / Hip Hop vibes that have become so popular in the main part of the night.

In my mix I have focused on the dance element of my sets to give a complete look to this cd, which will showcase all the types of music you will hear at Espionage, making it still the most popular ‘7 nights a week’ venue in the city.

Enjoy...
